Note:the doses of this medication vary depending on the patient. The most common doses for adults with mild to severe hypertension include 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg once daily, and the doses for patients with mild to severe hypertension and chronic stable angina include 100 mg once daily and 50 mg once daily.

Norvasc 5mg tablets are not suitable for people with certain medical conditions. Before taking Norvasc 5mg tablets, tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have been taking any of the following: medicines called calcium channel blockers (MCNs) such as verapamil (Calciumcloride), furosemide (Fusidic Acid), or ramipril (Macrolide), or any herbal preparation such as lignocaine (Lignocaine de Corte) or pseudoephedrine (Pephistoramine). Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking, especially any prescription or over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
